Legae English Medium School is a registered Cambridge International Examination Centre and follows the Cambridge International Curriculum Framework.
The Cambridge International Curriculum Framework is a six-year course and the external Checkpoint Examination at Legae is written following the completion of the 6-year curriculum, in the October of the following year (Standard Seven). There is also external assessment, Cambridge Progression Tests, done after the completion of Standard Three, Standard Four, and Standard Five. This is also done in the April of the following year.
Homework is considered essential to a child’s learning process and an important part of the school day. A School Diary is given to each student in which they record the daily homework. This must be signed every day by the Parent and the Teacher.
Reading is also part of daily compulsory Homework and each child is given a Reading Record which must be signed daily by both Parent and Teacher.

To prepare our children for Secondary Education, the school offers some subject taught under the Botswana National Curriculum. These subjects are Agriculture, Setswana and Social Studies.
Legae English Medium School also offers subjects not under either Examination frameworks. These subjects are:

Learners are promoted to the next Standard on merit. Promotion to the next Standard is not automatic. The learner’s academic performance, behaviour, emotional and social development are considered before any decision is made.

In addition to the consistent pass rate , students from Legae English Medium School have been selected to participate in the National Science Olympiads and Chess Tournaments. The School has achieved excellent sporting success as the Private Schools Athletics Champions from 2011-16 and has entered numerous students into National sporting events including the following sports: Netball, Football, Softball, Cross Country, Chess, Fencing and Karate.
